George's Ranch Hack
George's Ranch can be found in the Sea Caves area of Paphos, near Cap St George. For over 20 years they have been offering trail rides to happy hackers, and have gradually been expanding. In this article we pay them a visit and follow them on one of their trips.
George's Ranch
George's Ranch can be found just off the main Coast Road between Coral Bay and Agios Georgios. If you are heading up from Paphos you will go past a sign for Cap St George on the left, and it will be a little way past that.

Around The Ranch
We had originally planned to film George's Ranch a few years ago. If I recall correctly, the COVID pandemic got in the way, and once that was under control we had moved on to other things. So when Cap St George mentioned the ranch to us we were interested straight away.
One of the ranch's trail runs (hacks) takes them along the coast path that runs through Cap St George. It would be nice to film this using the drone. However, given the noise a drone makes, we wouldn't be able to film one of the regular hacks, as the chances of startling a horse would be too great. So Cap St George arranged for a special hack with two trained riders and top quality horses.

Let me take you on a journey around the region of Paphos, Cyprus. Starting at Paphos itself, we travel to Akoursos, then Kathikas, Kritou Terra and Simou. We continue past Lasa and Kannaviou, before taking in the delights of Panagia. Getting a bit more adventurous, we visit the abandoned villages of Statos and Agios Fotios, before passing through Choulou, Letymbou and Polemi, and rejoining the main Paphos - Polis road.
The route is suitable for all types of vehicle, and requires no off-roading. The guide contains about 130 photographs including shots of all the road signs you need to pay attention to, as well as some of the highlights you may experience along the way.
There are also several maps which will help you keep your bearings.
You can do this journey in a day, or you can break it up into chunks. You can also do it in reverse, to get some completely different views. It is entirely up to you.
