From Ezousa Valley To The Sea

This was a popular spot with the local hunters.

Beyond The Bridge

Once we had driven under the bridge, we followed the water channel (visible in the top right) along the side of the valley which was now full of wild shrubs.

We eventually hit a snag though. I had to abandon the 4x4 and continue on foot.

And this was as far as we got. I couldn't get the Pajero through there, though a motorbike or bicycle would do it easily. We shall have to finish the journey to the sea in another trip, and another blog. If you are curious where we ended up when we found our way back to the main road, it was by the Akis Tavern near Timi.

If you want to explore the lower valley and outside of the resort, you might find it easier approaching from the B7 rather than Episkopi. Those puddles really were very large indeed...
