Sea Front Pooch
When this picture appeared as a Kalimera shot on our Facebook page, people were concerned about the pooch. I am not going to comment on its welfare, but it wasn't abandoned. The owner is standing on the wall on the left, looking down at the sea.
Aphrodite's Rock
They've nearly finished the road repairs on the B6 just past Aphrodite's Rock. We drove up to have a look and did a little film of the roadworks. Since then, they have laid tarmac, and it must surely be opening within the next few weeks.
Come To Your Senses!
Sense By The Beach has been causing quite a stir since it opened at Potima Bay. It is very popular with the locals, and the car park is full at night.
Beautiful Baracas
There was a concert by Baracas Bar which was very well attended too. It is a lovely spot, found just after St George Beach and before Azia Resort.
Muse
The Muse Restaurant is another very popular place to eat in Paphos. Situated atop a rocky outcrop in Old Town, it commands fantastic views over Kato Paphos, and the kebabs are nice too!

eBookCyprus Road Trip 01: the Kathikas - Panagia Loop
Let me take you on a journey around the region of Paphos, Cyprus. Starting at Paphos itself, we travel to Akoursos, then Kathikas, Kritou Terra and Simou. We continue past Lasa and Kannaviou, before taking in the delights of Panagia. Getting a bit more adventurous, we visit the abandoned villages of Statos and Agios Fotios, before passing through Choulou, Letymbou and Polemi, and rejoining the main Paphos - Polis road.
The route is suitable for all types of vehicle, and requires no off-roading. The guide contains about 130 photographs including shots of all the road signs you need to pay attention to, as well as some of the highlights you may experience along the way.
There are also several maps which will help you keep your bearings.
You can do this journey in a day, or you can break it up into chunks. You can also do it in reverse, to get some completely different views. It is entirely up to you.
