Cyprus In Pictures - May 2025
Poseidonos Avenue Renovations

Now that they have finished the Water Feature at Poseidonos Avenue it looks pretty impressive. I had an adventure just up from here exploring the old bowling alley in May. It was good fun but wasn't half smelly in places.

Paphos Harbour

The tours from the Harbour were ramping it up a notch in May. If you want to book one and don't know where to start, take a look on the Viator Site. It is run by the people who do Trip Adivisor, and lists 100s of tours. You can book online and search for specific dates etc. Also there are reviews to read, so you can find out more about the tours.
Venus Beach

We will finish off the day shots with two more beach pictures, which together destroy the myth that there are no sandy beaches in Paphos. This one is Venus Beach...
Sensational SODAP

And this is the SODAP Beach, in front of the Amavi Hotel and the Antasia Beach Bar. They have the sunbeds out now so what are you waiting for?

Time for some evening shots, showing Paphos in all its illuminated glory...

eBookCyprus Road Trip 01: the Kathikas - Panagia Loop
Let me take you on a journey around the region of Paphos, Cyprus. Starting at Paphos itself, we travel to Akoursos, then Kathikas, Kritou Terra and Simou. We continue past Lasa and Kannaviou, before taking in the delights of Panagia. Getting a bit more adventurous, we visit the abandoned villages of Statos and Agios Fotios, before passing through Choulou, Letymbou and Polemi, and rejoining the main Paphos - Polis road.
The route is suitable for all types of vehicle, and requires no off-roading. The guide contains about 130 photographs including shots of all the road signs you need to pay attention to, as well as some of the highlights you may experience along the way.
There are also several maps which will help you keep your bearings.
You can do this journey in a day, or you can break it up into chunks. You can also do it in reverse, to get some completely different views. It is entirely up to you.
