We post a daily "Kalimera" picture to Facebook on a topical theme. I thought it would be nice to give them greater exposure, so have combined them into a monthly article. The pictures here are now viewable in their original Landscape glory. So take a look at a selection of pictures we feel summarises how April has been in our corner of Cyprus.
Fool's Gold

April began with my traditional (well, for the last two years) doctored Kalimera picture. I was originally just going to use this picture, where I have doubled the size of the tower. However, I thought that it might be a bit too subtle on its own, so I stuck King Kong and a couple of biplanes on top of it. Even so, some people still managed to focus their ire on the elongated tower.
Possible Future

I suppose next year I could photoshop somebody sitting in that chair. It is the huge one at Baracas Bar, with stairs leading up to it.
Changing Times

We've had some odd weather in April. Well actually it isn't that odd. We have dusts and the occasional storm every April. Nevertheless, when it passes through it still manages to take us by surprise. I restricted my shooting sessions in the main to days when the skies had at least had a hint of blue though.
Lighthouse Beach

With the new walkway finished the Lighthouse Beach is proving very popular again, and rightly so. The cafe here does great food, too.
Coral Bay Linear Park

Once I had written my article about the new Coral bay Linear Park, I found some more information about it. The building in the bottom right of the short is not in fact a beach bar, but a place where they have weddings and receptions. I guess it must have been quite secluded until that bridge was built!
