Coral Bay Strip Renovations - March Update
Follow The Arrow

The turning leads to a diversion that runs to the other side of Coral Bay. It is well signposted, and if you follow the route you will soon arrive here. Now we are ignoring the diversion signs and turning right.

Rear Carpark

This leads to a rear car park in the centre of Coral Bay Strip. There are some more signs here too.
Empty Spaces

I can see what Pantelis meant about the space for parking now. I hadn't appreciated how much room there was here in the past.
In terms of which restaurants are open, I can only recommend you phone the one you were thinking of eating at and put your question to them. I know Seriani's is open, as I saw signs for them. Incidentally, they do really nice stifado there. Their other food is nice too, but I particularly liked their stifado.
I also saw signs for Blazing Saddles and a number of other eateries. However, for all I know, some of the signs may have been there for ages, so phone and check first. If you don't know where you want to eat, but just want food, then you will definately find somewhere that is open.
Dolce Vita

Once I had explored the carpark I continued the diversion until I emerged on the other side of the Strip. From there I drove up to Philippos and back towards the Coral Bay Roundabout. Turning right before the roundabout, I headed to the old Amusement Park. I noticed that there was a sign in front of it for Dolce Vita, so that is open too.
All going well, I will do another report towards the end of April. I am very keen to see what the strip will look like when the new tiles have been laid. Watch this space...
