On the other side of the road were some more buildings, but no aquaduct. I bumped into a friendly Cypriot, who thought I might be lost. I explained to him I was following the aquaduct and asked if he knew there was any more of it across the road. He said that he thought there might be, but that I should be on the lookout for snakes. This is very good advice.

So I crossed the road and tried to work out where the aquaduct would run, assuming it continued in a straight line from where I last saw it. If you see that white square in the centre of the picture, and draw a line straight across the road to the front of the picture, you get an idea of where I think it would have gone.

Rocky Potential

I could see a few rocks here and there, but it was mainly scrubland. Some shrubland in the distance might hide something interesting though.

Sure enough, here it was.

Hidden Gem

I was glad I found it again. I could tell by the faint path that I wasn't the first person to make this discovery. However, it was suitably remote for me to feel a bit adventurous.
