Aphrodite's Trail
Another Stonking View

The trouble with walks that involve hill ascents like this, is that you end up with a lot of amazing pictures that are essentially the same. But I don't care. Here's the Blue Lagoon again. And later you will see too many views of Chrysochou Bay.

Rocky Outcrop

The cliffs here reminded me of the ones we had seen above Pano Panagia, but they wren't as impressive.
Steps To Heaven

Mind your step as you follow the trail.
View From The Top

We had a much appreciated drink break when we reached this bench.
The Route Down

Now though, the fun started. There are a number of trails that interlink at the top of the hills, but no means of knowing which one was which. I had wrongly assumed at the start that the route would be clearly signposted. This is not in fact the case. So do yourself a favour, and get a decent walking app for your phone. I am checking some of them out at the moment, and will publish my findings at a later date.

eBookCyprus Road Trip 01: the Kathikas - Panagia Loop
Let me take you on a journey around the region of Paphos, Cyprus. Starting at Paphos itself, we travel to Akoursos, then Kathikas, Kritou Terra and Simou. We continue past Lasa and Kannaviou, before taking in the delights of Panagia. Getting a bit more adventurous, we visit the abandoned villages of Statos and Agios Fotios, before passing through Choulou, Letymbou and Polemi, and rejoining the main Paphos - Polis road.
The route is suitable for all types of vehicle, and requires no off-roading. The guide contains about 130 photographs including shots of all the road signs you need to pay attention to, as well as some of the highlights you may experience along the way.
There are also several maps which will help you keep your bearings.
You can do this journey in a day, or you can break it up into chunks. You can also do it in reverse, to get some completely different views. It is entirely up to you.
