An Official Route?

Just after the shrine you come to this fenced off area. This isn't actually important. If you look above it though, and to the left, you may spot a tiny sign.

It is a signpost to Agios Georgios! This is THE most direct route, and there is even a bit of rope to guide you as you scrabble up the slope. However, we want a more sedate journey. So carry on down the road.

Take the Aphrodite Trail

When you get to the signpost for the Aphrodite Trail, take it and turn left.

Turn Left Here

Soon you will come to an arrow, pointing the way you came. The arrow is there for a reason, because to the left of it is another path. You want to take that path, so that you are heading back in the direction of the church.

Off The Aphrodite Trail

You need to pay attention now. Soon there will be a fainter path going right.
