Polemi Tulip Festival 2023
Nosebag!
An essential part of an Cypriot Festival is the attendant nosebag. They had lovely big Koupes here, as well as a donut-like delicacy.

    Loukoumades
And of course, no Cypriot event would be complete without the Loukoumades. I would have to try these, but first I should get some more photographs.
Inside The Metochi
I walked inside the building itself, mainly because I was nosey. There were a few pictures of the tulips and a film playing in Greek. To be honest though, I've taken so many pictures of the tulips myself over the years I just glanced at these quickly. You can see some of those in the list of related blogs at the bottom of this page.
Eating Area
The next room was the main dining area. This place is crying out to be a traditional Village Tavern. It is an amazing location. It only seems to get used for village-wide events though, which is a shame.
Back Outside
Oh I didn't mention it, but the loukoumades were free. I think they were also giving out free wine, though I didn't try any myself.
