For our penultimate church, we are going off piste. Ayios Apostoloi is somewhere up this track. In winter time, driving these routes can be very precarious, and it is easy to get stuck in mud if you are not careful. Fortunately, the rainfall of the past few weeks was not yet sufficient to produce a quagmire.

I had often wondered what was up this hill, so it was nice to finally explore it. The views were spectacular.

We drove past what looked like old rubble, and eventually came to this olive grove. There was a wall here but I think it was just a wall, as opposed to the side of a building.

It would be interesting coming up here at night, to see all the villages illuminated by their street lights.

And here are the ruins. Not exactly worth getting the bunting out for, and the view was not improved by the rubbish that had been dumped here just out of shot. In fairness to the dumper though, I doubt many people will come across it.
