Muntyan's Labyrinth
The Surrounding Scenery

While we are here, let's have a look at the countryside around Melanda Bay. This is the view towards Pissouri. The beaches around here are quite remote. You can drive down to one of them, but the rest rely on stairs to get you down the cliff.

Close Up

There is a track that will take you all the way to Pissouri. However, it is only suitable for a decent off-road vehicle. You can see the track in this shot behind the field. It is ok while it goes along the coast. However, when it turns inland it gets quite a bit rougher.
Rocks Below

Not all the coastline is usable beach. The area in front of the Labyrinth is actually quite rocky. Nice to look at from a distance though.

The area also has a bit of a reputation for having nudist beaches. I guess if you managed to climb down there you could be forgiven for stripping to your bear skuddies and tanning your bottom. However, there is a big sign near the Labyrinth talling people not to go in the buff. Ok, they phrase it somewhat differently, but that's what they mean.
Towards Avdimou Beach

I shall leave you with this view of the rest of the bay beyond Melanda Beach. There is another restaurant and beach down there which is worth checking out. In fact, the whole area is worth exploring, so go out and have a look for yourself!
