Kefalos Beach Village Tour
Our Accommodation
Our host actually laid on a little treat for us and gave us a tour of the grounds in a buggy before arriving at our room. You can see that in the accompanying film. Once we arrived at our home-from-home we were ushered in. This is a typical room, with a living area next to a kitchen.
All Mod Cons
If you are staying bed and breakfast then you will be able to prepare you own meals easily enough, should you not want to explore the restaurants of Paphos. There is an oven, a microwave and a toaster, as well as a fridge, and lots of cupboard space. The odd device on the left is my camera and gimbal, in case you were wondering.
Room With A View
Obviously the view you get will depend on what room you are in, but ours looked out over the boardwalk.
Bathroom
The bathroom was self-explanatory.
Comfy Bed
The bedroom was nice and large too, with plenty of cupboard space. There were spare pillows in the cupboards.

Kefalos Beach Village can be found just west of Paphos Harbour, between Lighthouse Beach and Tombs of the Kings. It is a 4 star complex offering a slightly different living environment to the traditional hotel. Last week they were kind enough to give us the grand tour.

eBookCyprus Road Trip 01: the Kathikas - Panagia Loop
Let me take you on a journey around the region of Paphos, Cyprus. Starting at Paphos itself, we travel to Akoursos, then Kathikas, Kritou Terra and Simou. We continue past Lasa and Kannaviou, before taking in the delights of Panagia. Getting a bit more adventurous, we visit the abandoned villages of Statos and Agios Fotios, before passing through Choulou, Letymbou and Polemi, and rejoining the main Paphos - Polis road.
The route is suitable for all types of vehicle, and requires no off-roading. The guide contains about 130 photographs including shots of all the road signs you need to pay attention to, as well as some of the highlights you may experience along the way.
There are also several maps which will help you keep your bearings.
You can do this journey in a day, or you can break it up into chunks. You can also do it in reverse, to get some completely different views. It is entirely up to you.
