Cyprus Roadtrip 5 - Ayia Napa, Protaras and Paralimni
It's typical, you wait around for a new Road Trip to drop for years, then three of them come at once! In our latest guide, we take you on a tour of the East of the Island. There is so much more to Ayia Napa and the surrounds than sandy beaches and a party lifestyle. Let us show you what the area really has to offer.
Ayia Napa Sculpture Park

I actually wrote most of this eBook last year. We are based in Polemi, Paphos, but once a year spend a week in the East of the Island. Last year I planned the route and took all the pictures. I had to wait a year though, so that I could check it properly before publication. It was a good job I waited, as well! In that time, the Marina opened, and it is well worth seeing. But we begin at the Sculpture Park. If you simply can't wait to order the ebook on Amazon, use the following link:
Love Bridge

The route is circular so if you are based in Protaras you can start there and adjust the route accordingly if you want. I recommend though that you drive to the Sculpture Park first though, no matter where you are. This is because it is best seen either early morning or late afternoon. In the middle of the day it is quite hot walking around it.
After the Sculpture Park, we head to Cape Greco, via the Love Bridge.
Some Sea Caves

There are a number of areas along the way that can lay claim to the name "Sea Caves". This is one of them.
Monument of Peace

An outstanding feature of Cape Greco is the Monument of Peace you can find at the summit of the hill which dominates the area.
Agios Anargiroi

This chapel, and the cave behind it, is another essential visit. It is right next to another natural bridge too.

eBookCyprus Road Trip 01: the Kathikas - Panagia Loop
Let me take you on a journey around the region of Paphos, Cyprus. Starting at Paphos itself, we travel to Akoursos, then Kathikas, Kritou Terra and Simou. We continue past Lasa and Kannaviou, before taking in the delights of Panagia. Getting a bit more adventurous, we visit the abandoned villages of Statos and Agios Fotios, before passing through Choulou, Letymbou and Polemi, and rejoining the main Paphos - Polis road.
The route is suitable for all types of vehicle, and requires no off-roading. The guide contains about 130 photographs including shots of all the road signs you need to pay attention to, as well as some of the highlights you may experience along the way.
There are also several maps which will help you keep your bearings.
You can do this journey in a day, or you can break it up into chunks. You can also do it in reverse, to get some completely different views. It is entirely up to you.
