I love the way it just winds its way through the countryside, unmolested by humanity and the passage of time.

You can see on this bit how the water channel must have been protected. It would be a bit of a bugger if it ever got blocked though.

Heading Back

I was getting hot now, so headed back to the car. You can see how the aquaduct rapidly inceases its width.

Further Towards The Source

I was actually able to locate the aquaduct on the other side of the Sculpture Park road, using images I had uploaded previously to Google Street View. Next time we are in the area I shall stop to take a closer look at it.

The aquaduct is well worth a visit, and most of your walk will have you in the shade, so go check it out!
