Low pressure is expected to hit Cyprus as from Thursday with rain on the way along with a drop in the temperature, according to the island’s Met Service.
On Thursday, Friday and Saturday it will be mostly cloudy and local showers and isolated thunderstorms are on the forecast – mainly in the afternoon and evening.
The temperature on Thursday is not expected to show any significant change, but come Friday and Saturday it will drop to below average levels.
Specifically, Wednesday will be mostly cloudy with variable winds, blowing westerly to south-westerly.
Their force will be 3 to 4 Beaufort over a smooth to slight sea.
The temperature will rise to 26 C inland, 23 C in coastal areas and 17 C in the mountains.
