Mavralis Picnic Site
New Shrubs
First though, let's enjoy the view as it is now. You can see Limni Pier from here, in the distance. Before that, you can see an expanse of sand and evidence that new shrubs have been planted. It used to be quite overgrown here, so this is a dramatic change.
Towards Argaka
This is the view the other way.
More Benches
There has been a lot of clearing done around here. On the next page I have dug up some pictures I took before the work started. You can see the difference yourself. It was always a lovely BBQ but the beach was a bit of a mess.

Well-Kept Loos
The final thing to show you before we take a trip back in time is the loos. Some picnic sites have loos full of character, which is a polite way of saying they need cleaning. These ones are in good condition though. They even get mentioned in reviews people leave on Google.

Polis Beaches Part 1
We've already had a look at how the beaches and restaurants of Paphos and Ayia Napa are coping with the new norms of social distancing. In this report we originally planned on showing you the beaches from Kato Pyrgos to Polis. However, there were so many that we have had to split it in two, so join us as we travel from Kato Pyrgos to the outskirts of Pomos. In our next blog we will continue the journey to Polis.Polis Beaches Part 3
In the final part of our look at the beaches along the north coast of Paphos, we travel from Pomos to Polis, finishing up with a slap-up meal at our favourite kebab joint. If you want quieter beaches in beautiful surroundings, then this area will not disappoint. We visited these beaches more times than was strictly necessary to make this blog, which shows that we have saved what we consider to be some of the best Paphos beaches to last.Good Pages To Visit
