Rambling on the Akamas
Clifftop View

In spring I climbed up to near the top of that. There are a lot of goat trails and it was easier than you might imagine. It is too hot at the moment for that though.

Interesting Hole

The trouble with holes like that, is that they are difficult to reach and more often than not, are no where as interesting as they look. So I will leave that for another day.
Interesting Rock

You can't really tell from this picture but this rock has a really odd surface. It looks like a filter has been applied to it to smooth out some of the rough textures.
What's This?

Nestled in a similar rock, a lump of metal caught my eye. What is that?
War Department Memorabilia

Look at that! An old wartime fuel or water cannister, dated 1945. Believe it or not, the lid still opened and closed. I shall do this up I think. There is a small hole that needs fixing, but other than that it is in surprisingly good condition.

We continue past Lasa and Kannaviou, before taking in the delights of Panagia. Getting a bit more adventurous, we visit the abandoned villages of Statos and Agios Fotios, before passing through Choulou, Letymbou and Polemi, and rejoining the main Paphos - Polis road.
The route is suitable for all types of vehicle, and requires no off-roading. The guide contains about 130 photographs including shots of all the road signs you need to pay attention to, as well as some of the highlights you may experience along the way.
