Paphos Seafront Storm - November 2023
Free Aphrodite

Speaking ofrenovation work, they have now finished at the harbour. The fences have all been removed and you can now explore the area with gay abandon. The New Aphrodite still stares towards her rock, so not everything is new.
Paphos Castle Sunrise

I was actually able to get a sunrise shot with the castle in it, however I was too late for it to be usable. The sun was too high in the sky. I took this one a bit earlier though.
View From The New Bit

Where the new area really shines is at night time. That deserves its own report though, as it is something special.
Surf Is Up

A day later I returned to the Sea Front, and the sea was still rough. So if you fancy seeing a few waves then take a look tomorrow morning.
Kalimera From Paphos!

I was very pleased with how my film and pictures came out. Day Break has a certain magical charm which really brings pictures alive. I shall definitely be having some more early-morning adventures, so stay tuned for that!

eBookCyprus Road Trip 01: the Kathikas - Panagia Loop
Let me take you on a journey around the region of Paphos, Cyprus. Starting at Paphos itself, we travel to Akoursos, then Kathikas, Kritou Terra and Simou. We continue past Lasa and Kannaviou, before taking in the delights of Panagia. Getting a bit more adventurous, we visit the abandoned villages of Statos and Agios Fotios, before passing through Choulou, Letymbou and Polemi, and rejoining the main Paphos - Polis road.
The route is suitable for all types of vehicle, and requires no off-roading. The guide contains about 130 photographs including shots of all the road signs you need to pay attention to, as well as some of the highlights you may experience along the way.
There are also several maps which will help you keep your bearings.
You can do this journey in a day, or you can break it up into chunks. You can also do it in reverse, to get some completely different views. It is entirely up to you.
