Paphos Seafront - What A Mess!

I didn't want to dwell too long at here, as the Sea Front was the story of the day. However, I did take a couple of shots.
Once And Future Pelican
At The Pelican Restaurant they seemed to be gearing up to open again. This will be good news for the tourists who are no doubt getting a bit worried.
Roof TLC
It looked like they were giving the roof of the Restaurant Seating Area a bit of TLC. They had removed it ane placed it here. Why they couldn't treat it in-situ I don't know, but I am sure they had their reasons.
Little Digger
I like tiny little diggers like this. You can't help but imagine the driver wishes he was driving a bigger machine.

ANyway, that's enough of the Harbour. Let's check out the main attraction.

Paphos Harbour Walkway Maintenance
Recently the Mayor Of Paphos announced numerous contracts for improving the sea front and harbour area. The contracts were not only for the introduction of new facilities though. Some of the money was allocated for maintenance and upkeep of the existing facilities. It's all gone a bit critical down at Paphos Seafront. The shopfronts have had a lot of their frontages removed and it is currently in a bit of a pickle. What are the long term plans? Who knows, in this article we just want to survey the scene.

eBookCyprus Road Trip 01: the Kathikas - Panagia Loop
Let me take you on a journey around the region of Paphos, Cyprus. Starting at Paphos itself, we travel to Akoursos, then Kathikas, Kritou Terra and Simou. We continue past Lasa and Kannaviou, before taking in the delights of Panagia. Getting a bit more adventurous, we visit the abandoned villages of Statos and Agios Fotios, before passing through Choulou, Letymbou and Polemi, and rejoining the main Paphos - Polis road.
The route is suitable for all types of vehicle, and requires no off-roading. The guide contains about 130 photographs including shots of all the road signs you need to pay attention to, as well as some of the highlights you may experience along the way.
There are also several maps which will help you keep your bearings.
You can do this journey in a day, or you can break it up into chunks. You can also do it in reverse, to get some completely different views. It is entirely up to you.
