Paphos Old Town in 2023 - Part 3
Shisha Facts

I've never smoked from a Shisha pipe. According to the web, an hour long shisha session consumes as much smoke as 100 cigarettes. So if you are looking for a healthy alternative to the demon weed, look elsewhere.

Bee Hostel

Just down from the junction you will find the entrance to the Bee Hostel. According to Google, prices there are about €45 a night. However, if you check out the Bee Hostel Website you will see that beds cost €24 a night. Note though, that this is a hostel, so you will be sharing a room with other people.
The pictures I saw looked far nicer than the fleapits I stayed in when I was travelling Asia in the 90s. Mind you, they only cost about $3 a night! I would not want to stay in them again though.
Work In Progress

They are still working on some of the side roads here. I wonder what it will be like when the area is entirely finished. How long will that be?
Burger Stories

What tales would a burger have to tell? Why not pop in to Burger Stories and ask? Alternatively, make your own burger story by rolling your own, metaphorically speaking. Looking at the menu in the link, you can really micromanage the contents of your burger, which is perhaps where the story bit of the name comes in. Price-wise, initially I thought they were quite expensive. The dearest burger on the menu is over €20. Mind you, when you consider that it contains 500g (over a pound) of beef, you can see why it costs so much. Indeed, most of the burgers weigh in at 200g, which is nearly a half pounder in old money, but are a lot more affordable.
Towards Part 2

We are now approaching the area we covered in Part 2. If you carry on down this road you will get to the fish restaurant and Aphrodite's Children mural. We shall be taking the left turn you can see here though.
