Old Town 2022 Update - Part 1
Popular

It isn't all building work though. On the other side of the walkway some of the Cafes were in full swing. We shall walk up here in a tick. First I want to see the Green Wall.

The Green Wall

Hmmm. The wall itself is fine, but the area around it is undergoing some major work. If you are unfamiliar with the design, it is a wall decorated with thousands of plants. It has been here a few years now, and is normally in a more attractive setting.
In Ordinary Times

See? This is what the area usually looks like.
Not How I Remember It!

To the right of the Green Wall there used to be another main entrance into the Indoor Market. It looked nothing like it does now! It is worth pointing out though, that the market is not in fact closed. If you read on a few pages you will find that there is a cutdown version of the market that is still open.
The Finished Product

This is what a finished area looks like. There is even a Cementography Mural on the left hand wall.

Autumn was in the air and the skies were fairly grey. There was even some rain at some point. However, the pictures will still hopefully show what a wonderful place Old Town Paphos is becoming.

We continue past Lasa and Kannaviou, before taking in the delights of Panagia.
