Neon Mall Expansion Update - March 2026
Full Frontal
Up until now the companies with a presence in the Mall have had their logos at the front. I guess it will get a lot more crowded soon!
Inside
I popped inside to see if I could get a look at the extension from here, but there was nothing visible.
Nice Escalator
From the Mall I went down to the basement parking area. The escalators looked a lot nicer than on my previous visit. I was surprised at how full the carpark there was though. Given that the main carpark was also pretty full, I do hope that they have added more spaces in the extension. Accessing the Mall is also an issue, and the traffic situation needs to be closely monitored. There was talk of building a new roundabout by McDonalds, but nothing has been done on that front yet.
Rear View
I emerged from the basement in the far corner of the main carpark. I could get another glimpse of the extension from here, but for a better view I would need to head down the dual carriageway towards the Stadium...
Not Too Shabby
There is a layby a little way down the Dual Carriageway. I pulled in there to get a closer look.

eBookCyprus Road Trip 01: the Kathikas - Panagia Loop
Let me take you on a journey around the region of Paphos, Cyprus. Starting at Paphos itself, we travel to Akoursos, then Kathikas, Kritou Terra and Simou. We continue past Lasa and Kannaviou, before taking in the delights of Panagia. Getting a bit more adventurous, we visit the abandoned villages of Statos and Agios Fotios, before passing through Choulou, Letymbou and Polemi, and rejoining the main Paphos - Polis road.
The route is suitable for all types of vehicle, and requires no off-roading. The guide contains about 130 photographs including shots of all the road signs you need to pay attention to, as well as some of the highlights you may experience along the way.
There are also several maps which will help you keep your bearings.
You can do this journey in a day, or you can break it up into chunks. You can also do it in reverse, to get some completely different views. It is entirely up to you.
