Paphos Mall - Christmas 2022
Christmas Bling

One thing they do every year is hang these lights down from the first floor balconies. It is a lovely effect and doesn't need improving on.

We are now walking along the Ground Floor.
Toy Soldier

This sort of figurine is always popular at Christmas, though I have never understood why. I wonder what the origin of the design is?

This decoration was new. From the rear it just looks like another bauble, but from the front you can see it has a seat. People plonk their kids here and take pictures of them. And it isn't just kids, either. Naturally I didn't want to intrude on somebody's private moment, so I waited until the booth was empty.
Towards The Main Event

The centrepiece of any Christmas display is always the tree, and we are getting close to it now. First though, there is a little Christmas Village to explore.

Let me take you on a journey around the region of Paphos, Cyprus. Starting at Paphos itself, we travel to Akoursos, then Kathikas, Kritou Terra and Simou. We continue past Lasa and Kannaviou, before taking in the delights of Panagia.
