Paphos Mall Christmas 2020
By anybody's reckoning 2020 has been a challenging year. However, we have all got this far, and Christmas is approaching. What's more, the restrictions on Paphos have been lifted a bit, so we can go down to The Mall and look at the Christmas decorations...
Balls

The first thing to notice is that the decorations are the same as last year. Normally I would be disappointed not to see anything new, but this year, I think we can all be delighted just to see anything. And let's face it, the decorations last year were very nice.
Get Out Of The Way!

There is a chap walking on the far left of this picture. He was coming down the elevator and saw me about to take a picture. I think he wanted to be in it as it took him quite a while to move out of the shot.
More Balls

I've started at the Ground Floor entrance and am walking up to Jumbo. I will then return via the first floor.
Toy Town

I took these pictures at around 9:30AM, so the Mall wasn't very crowded. Not all of the shops were open yet either.
Mall Panorama
I had my 360 camera with me, and will upload a tour later. However, here is a taster.

eBookCyprus Road Trip 01: the Kathikas - Panagia Loop
Let me take you on a journey around the region of Paphos, Cyprus. Starting at Paphos itself, we travel to Akoursos, then Kathikas, Kritou Terra and Simou. We continue past Lasa and Kannaviou, before taking in the delights of Panagia. Getting a bit more adventurous, we visit the abandoned villages of Statos and Agios Fotios, before passing through Choulou, Letymbou and Polemi, and rejoining the main Paphos - Polis road.
The route is suitable for all types of vehicle, and requires no off-roading. The guide contains about 130 photographs including shots of all the road signs you need to pay attention to, as well as some of the highlights you may experience along the way.
There are also several maps which will help you keep your bearings.
You can do this journey in a day, or you can break it up into chunks. You can also do it in reverse, to get some completely different views. It is entirely up to you.
