My team is in one of the lower divisions, so doesn't tend to be shown at the sports bars. But if you want to take in a match, you could try here.
The Almyra
The food in this hotel is very nice, and the rooms are very comfy. Friends of ours have stayed there, and we joined them for an evening meal. I also took my favourite Paphos sunset picture from the pool area here.

Turn Left
At the Almyra, we turn left, towards the top end of Bar Street. This Fish and Chip Restaurant is relatively new. We've had a meal here (well, takeaway) a couple of times, and they are really good. Both fish and chips were cooked to perfection and the scampi my wife ordered was lovely too. Some UK immigrants seem to poo poo the idea of having fish and chips. I find that bizarre, because if you asked them to recommend a decent Indian or Chinese they would have no problem. And nobody objects to Chinese people going to China Town in London to eat. So what's the problem with fish and chips? I'm not saying you should only eat fish and chips, but there's no harm in having a fish supper occasionally.
Back To Bar Street
We shall end this section of our walk near where we started our previous blog. The Keg and Barrel is a popular bar, and is situated before you get to the run-down part of Bar Street.
Hopefully we have shown in this blog that not all of Bar Street is dead. At either side there are nice places which deserve your custom. You don't have to walk through the ruined bit to get from one end to the other. Just use the route we took in this article.

Let me take you on a journey around the region of Paphos, Cyprus. Starting at Paphos itself, we travel to Akoursos, then Kathikas, Kritou Terra and Simou. We continue past Lasa and Kannaviou, before taking in the delights of Panagia. Getting a bit more adventurous, we visit the abandoned villages of Statos and Agios Fotios, before passing through Choulou, Letymbou and Polemi, and rejoining the main Paphos - Polis road.
The route is suitable for all types of vehicle, and requires no off-roading. The guide contains about 130 photographs including shots of all the road signs you need to pay attention to, as well as some of the highlights you may experience along the way.
There are also several maps which will help you keep your bearings.
You can do this journey in a day, or you can break it up into chunks. You can also do it in reverse, to get some completely different views. It is entirely up to you.
