Ivis Maliotou Park Is Open
Lots of Paphos is being renovated at the moment. Not just the roads, but restaurants and shops are being upgraded too. New parks are also appearing, and Old Favourites are getting a bit of TLC. One such place is Ivis Maliotou Park. Conveniantly located In the centre of Old Town, it had nevertheless been somewhat neglected over the last few years. All that has changed. The park has now got the attention it deserved, and while not yet complete, it is now once again open. So let's have a look around...
Start At Muse

We shall begin our by the Muse Restaurant. Here you will find the Hotel Axiothea. Beside it, an alley takes you down the hill to the main road that runs through the centre of Paphos. The park is this way.
New Entrance

If you are an avid follower of our work, you will know that they have tarted this up quite a bit. There used to be a little archway here, and it was a lot more cluttered. We won't go up here to the park though. I want to go around the perimeter first. So we shall continue down the main path.
Tidy

This part of the park is pretty unrecognisable from the overgrown mess that used to be here.
More New Steps

We're at the bottom of the park now. If you go left here you will be on the main road, just above the Green Air building. You can go straight on but it is more interesting to go up the steps.
Viewpoint From Below

We shall check out the viewpoint later. From below though , it looks a bit precarious!
