Beyond Fabrica Hill
The End of the Line
The walkway will end here, as you can see by the gradually lowering supports.
Back to the Car Park
So there you have it. The walkway will take you from the top of Fabrica Hill, across two roads, and put you next to the Roman Hotel.
The Walkway From Afar
We took this shot from the top of The Mall, when we popped in for lunch. It is clear to me that the walkway is more about getting you from A to B than showing you any ruins. But there's no harm in that. There is such a lot to see on and around Fabrica Hill, that anything that encourages visitors must surely be a good thing. And don't forget the building work we saw on the other side of the hill. The area is going places.
Now, if you look carefully at the above picture, you will see a sign.
Artist's Impression
I have no idea what the Greek says, but this is what the walkway will look like when it is complete.
Close Up
It will certainly be a pleasure to walk along, but I really hope they don't allow segways!
One final thing while we are here. We have just created a new Facebook group to complement the Paphos Life website. Why not pop in for a chat?
