Beyond Fabrica Hill
Ancient Baths
Antiquities are all around. We were surprised at how many.
A New Visitor Centre?
Behind the amphitheatre, some sort of sheltered structure is being built. What will it be? Part of the floor looks like a cattle grid. Is there something interesting to see below it?
More Building
As we walked around we could see more building work. Unfortunately there was nothing to give any indication as to what was going on.
More Baths
When we reached these baths it became clear that we were nowhere near the end of the artifacts. We will cover the area in more depth in a future blog, but we snapped a few shots to whet your appetite.
St Paul's Pillar
These ruins have a different type of walkway, allowing visitors to view the ruins without causing any erosion. I think it detracts a little from the view, but I can't see any better way of allowing access without the place being damaged.
