Winter Water Features
Trozena Waterfall
And so to the waterfall itself. I should point out that it doesn't normally flow at all, so any water is a bit of a sight.
Last Winter
However, it has not yet reached the scale and majesty of last winter, which you can see here.
Need More Rain
If we get much more rain, this becomes an essential place to visit which very few people actually bother to see. This is a shame, as it is worth a journey to hear the sound of the falls alone.
Trozena Water Feature
While we were here we also checked out the village of Trozena itself. Last year, this area was flooded. Since then a lot of clearing has been done, and there is a lot less vegetation about. What I loved about this water feature were the autumnal leaves below the surface of the water. They don't really photograph that well but look stunning when you are standing there.
Last Winter
As I said, last winter the area was flooded, and I had to make lots of macho splashes for the camera.
