We post daily "Kalimera" and "Kalispera" pictures to Facebook on a topical theme. I thought it would be nice to give them greater exposure, so have combined them into a monthly article. The pictures here are now viewable in their original Landscape glory. So take a look at a selection of pictures we feel summarises how December has been in our corner of Cyprus.

Let's start with a nice sunny view of Paphos Sea Front. In truth though, thankfully, the month has been rather wet.
Coral Bay Strip
You wouldn't know that from looking at our daily Kalimera shots though. But that's because I don't tend to go out taking pictures when it is raining.
Money Shot
It can get a bit silly when I post a picture like this in the middle of a gale, but you can always use the Seafront Webcam for an up-to-date shot.
Instagram Friendly
Baracas Bar area in Chloraka is a great place for a walk, when it isn't raining.
Coral Bay
The sunbeds had been out on Corallia Beach for a lot of December, but they all went by January. The little harbour here still looks lovely though.

eBookCyprus Road Trip 01: the Kathikas - Panagia Loop
Let me take you on a journey around the region of Paphos, Cyprus. Starting at Paphos itself, we travel to Akoursos, then Kathikas, Kritou Terra and Simou. We continue past Lasa and Kannaviou, before taking in the delights of Panagia. Getting a bit more adventurous, we visit the abandoned villages of Statos and Agios Fotios, before passing through Choulou, Letymbou and Polemi, and rejoining the main Paphos - Polis road.
The route is suitable for all types of vehicle, and requires no off-roading. The guide contains about 130 photographs including shots of all the road signs you need to pay attention to, as well as some of the highlights you may experience along the way.
There are also several maps which will help you keep your bearings.
You can do this journey in a day, or you can break it up into chunks. You can also do it in reverse, to get some completely different views. It is entirely up to you.
