Coral Beach Hotel, Resort and Harbour

There is a nice little harbour there too. However, we aren't here to look at this, so lets head back to the wilder area.

Coast Path

From our carpark a track led around the coast, in front of the villas. You can walk right up to the cliff, but be careful if you do. You can see from this shot how there is quite an overhang in places.

Throne of the Virgin Mary

You soon come to a well-tended little chapel. Now, in the past, this used to be inundated with mementos left by (mostly British) holidaymakers. I have no idea why the tradition started, but there used to be engraved pebbles everywhere. They have all been cleared away now.

It is a lovely little chapel though, and well worth a visit.

Once you have visited the chapel, continue along the coast path.
