Troodos Winter Wonderland
To The Right
I could have walked straight up the toboggan run, but I didn't want to get in the way of the family who were there already, so I decided to zigzag my way up the hill. I should say at this point that I was filming my route up the mountain, and carrying my drone equipment. Consequently I was keen to have as gentle route as possible, because my arm was getting sore holding the camera up. There are links to the films at the end of this blog, so read on to see them...
Drag Lift Part 2
I'm about half way up the hill now. I have already added background music to the film at this point, because my breathing was quite heavy by now and I figured people would prefer some gentle music!
The Main Slope
The problem with zig-zagging is that you end up having to wade through rather deep virgin snow. So when I got to the main ski slope I decided I would walk up there.
Early Birds
Besides, the snow here was already getting flattened, by early-bird snowboarders and tobogganists.
A Tobogganist
I was joined by a couple of them as I trudged up the hill.
