Polis Archaeology
Protected Area
I viewed the area under the roof from a discrete distance. To be honest, I couldn't see anything that looked that different from the other areas of the dig.
Distant Hospital
If you want to get your bearings, that cross you can see in the distance is Polis Hospital.
Interesting Rubble
In amongst the rubble I could see a few examples of Hellenic Architecture. If you explore old churches around Cyprus, you will be amazed at home many columns like this have been used in the walls.
Got A Puncture
This mill stone has seen better days.
Plinth
It must be fascinating excavating all this. It requires a heck of a lot of patience though.
