Polemi Ochi Day Parade
Family Event
Most of the parade is made up of schoolchildren, and their families turn up to support them. This young lady was intrigued by my camera.
Banners And Flags
The parade was made up of several groups, each carrying their own flags and banners. They represented nearby villages. So don't think you can turn up at any Cypriot village on Ochi Day to see a parade. They get amalgamated, making it a much more social affair.
Polemi Banner
There was more than one banner for each village, so perhaps they reference individual schools or churches?
Flag Day
I shall try and include as many as possible, as it is only fair.
Giolou Posse
This was one of Giolou's two banners.
