They've decorated Steve the Statue in a suitably festive attire too.
Orange Stand
I'm not sure why, but they were giving away oranges.
Ocean Basket
Ocean Basket is turning into a real success at the Harbour. They have transformed the monstrous carbunkles. Currently they only appear to be occupying half of the building itself, though when I walked past the other half was undergoing renovation work. So who knows what it will be in the future? If I was a betting man my money would be on more seating for Ocean Basket though.
Modern Aphrodite
One thing you will notice when examining the various statues that adorn Paphos, is that they have brown areas where people have touched them most frequently. So the little fisherman has a shiny round head and nose. Most of the attention on Modern Aphrodite seems to be centred on her bottom...
Castle Waves
We'll finish with a view of the waves crashing over the sea wall by the castle. There was even a bit of foam about. Don't be alarmed if you are here yourself after a storm. The foam is perfactly natural.
I am sure this won't be our only report from the Sea Front after storms this winter, as it is certainly an impressive spectacle.
