Paphos From Above
Paphos Harbour
I love unusual views of places. I certainly hadn't imagined that the restaurant roof would look anything like this. As well as an abundance of restaurants, you can also use the harbour to go on a cruise. One popular company is Wave Dancer. You can also begin cruises to places further afield from here, including the ever-popular Blue Lagoon. For a much fuller list of available cruises, see the Viator website. They are run by the same company that do Trip Advisor.
Paphos Fort
Here is a nice picture of Paphos Fort. Most people call it Paphos Castle, but it was built for military purposes, and didn't house a nobleman, so that makes it a fort. Somebody pointed this out to me and they were quite correct. I am happy to call it either, just as I am happy to spell Latchi Latsi, or Pafos Paphos. But never, ever spell it Pathos. Not if you want a quiet life on the internet. If I was to wax lyrical about the Archaeological Park, saying how much I long to once again tread the many paths through its ruins, you could say that my post was tinged with pathos. That would be OK.
View Towards Lighthouse
We are rounding Paphos Point now. In the distance you can see the beginnings of the Archaeological Park creeping into view. And where there is a Lighthouse, there must also be a Lighthouse Beach...
Outdoor Murals
Apparently they have been given a grant to put some more roofs over this area. There are some lovely murals down there, and exposed to the elements. Indeed, some of them have been deliberately covered to protect them.
Now here is a top tip. If you want to see these murals at their best, wait until there has been a decent rain shower. Believe me, the difference is spectacular. This may not be an option at the moment, but later on in the year, if it rains, pay the park a visit afterwards, and you will see it in all its glory.

Lighthouse Beach
Lighthouse Beach is overlooked by a lot of people, but it is in a nice location and there are plenty of rocks to snorkle around. Also, I have had a BLT from the kiosk and that was delicious.
