Kitchen Area

We are now walking back down the corridor, looking at rooms on the left. This is a kitchen.

The Eternal Spoon Dilemma

The device you can see by the door is there to catch escaping spoons before they can flee the kitchen area. It is quite effective, judging by this scene.

Bowled Over

There is also an area set aside for ceramics.

Pottery

I liked the pottery collection too. I didn't see any Codd Bottles though. These are the marble-stoppered bottles you will occasionally see on a shelf of a country pub in the UK. I used to dig them up as a kid, and later collected them via eBay and Fairs. So I was wondering if they ever made their way over to Cyprus, given that British Rule started in 1878 and the Codd Bottle was in its prime at the start of the 20th Century. I have seen one picture of a Larnaca labelled Codd, but that is it.
