It would be a crime not to photograph the lighthouse on our way through.

Once we had flown around the corner, we could see the portion of the path which hadn't yet been started. It is in a right old state, with huge chunks missing.

Huh?

I'm not sure what had happened here. The original path seems to have had a slice taken out of it. Let's be honest though, it isn't going to be finished for a while yet.

Incidentally, if you do visit the Archaeological Park (and you should) do make a point of walking down beyond the lighthouse, to the old city wall. It is a lovely trek and will look especially lovely at the moment with all the spring flowers in bloom.

End Of The Line

We've reached the Lighthouse Beach now. If you look carefully you will see they have run a fence from the path all the way to the rocks in the water. They really don't want you to walk down here at the moment, so please respect their fence!
