Paphos Christmas 2021
Aphrodite's Children

I've reached the main road through Old Town again, and was pleased with this picture. Not because of the quality, but because of the activity in the alley. During the day, it is just a dusty passage. At night, it is transformed to a delightful bar.

More Murals

I'm heading back to Kennedy Square now. I have to say I am enjoying see how Old Paphos looks at night. It is a lot more lively than daytime.
Festive Bar

Again I should point out that when I say more lively, I am referring to how much busier it will get later in the evening. There is a pizza restaurant near The Mall. We went there once at about 6:30PM. When we left at 8PM the place was rammed solid.
Back To Kennedy Square

I made a film of the decorations too. I started in the blue alley on the left here, and walked up to Kennedy Square and the Town Hall. I was unsure how it would come out, given the lighting conditions, but I have been pleasantly surprised with the footage so far. Watch this space for that...
Another Tree Shot

I'm back at Kennedy Square now. Before I head for the town hall, I want to follow the road down towards The Mall for a bit first, as I saw another tree down there I want to have a look at.

eBookCyprus Road Trip 01: the Kathikas - Panagia Loop
Let me take you on a journey around the region of Paphos, Cyprus. Starting at Paphos itself, we travel to Akoursos, then Kathikas, Kritou Terra and Simou. We continue past Lasa and Kannaviou, before taking in the delights of Panagia. Getting a bit more adventurous, we visit the abandoned villages of Statos and Agios Fotios, before passing through Choulou, Letymbou and Polemi, and rejoining the main Paphos - Polis road.
The route is suitable for all types of vehicle, and requires no off-roading. The guide contains about 130 photographs including shots of all the road signs you need to pay attention to, as well as some of the highlights you may experience along the way.
There are also several maps which will help you keep your bearings.
