The Paphos To Chloraka Walkway

The Elysium Hotel
I've now reached as far as we got in the previous article. The running club's half way turning point is just behind me. From here on in is all new ground.
No Bins
This walkway is now open again, so the rumours I had heard were true. I don't think they are completely finished yet though, as there are no bins here.
Finished Selfie Spot
This was interesting. We had seen these structures on our first walkway article, but they weren't finished. They now come complete with a stylish seat and a railing.
Shade
There were a number of these structures too. I am guessing that at some point they will get their own shade cover too.
Distant Venus Beach
And I imagine the shade will be very much appreciated.

A couple of weeks ago I tried doing the new Coast Walk from the Castle to Venus Beach, but was unable to do so because of the ongoing renovation work. After reports floated down that the work was complete, I decided to give it another go. This time I make it all the way to Chloraka, though I did have to go off piste a couple of times.

eBookCyprus Road Trip 01: the Kathikas - Panagia Loop
Let me take you on a journey around the region of Paphos, Cyprus. Starting at Paphos itself, we travel to Akoursos, then Kathikas, Kritou Terra and Simou. We continue past Lasa and Kannaviou, before taking in the delights of Panagia. Getting a bit more adventurous, we visit the abandoned villages of Statos and Agios Fotios, before passing through Choulou, Letymbou and Polemi, and rejoining the main Paphos - Polis road.
The route is suitable for all types of vehicle, and requires no off-roading. The guide contains about 130 photographs including shots of all the road signs you need to pay attention to, as well as some of the highlights you may experience along the way.
There are also several maps which will help you keep your bearings.
You can do this journey in a day, or you can break it up into chunks. You can also do it in reverse, to get some completely different views. It is entirely up to you.
