Paphos Beaches And Restaurants - After Lockdown
The Lighthouse Beach

The next beach along the coast is called Faros Beach. I think most people call it the Lighthouse Beach though, for obvious reasons. It is a bit of a marmite affair. It has a nice cafe but a some people don't seem to like the beach itself. I guess it depends on whether the municipality has cleared away the seaweed or not. Anyway, if your hotel is local to it, this is what to expect.

Nice View

It certainly looks ok to me, if a bit rocky in places. But those rocks will be good for snorkelling.

Moving On

We are now heading towards Coral Bay. There are numerous little beaches along the way but we haven't got time to visit them all in this blog. We will stop here though, as there is a popular restaurant we thought it worth reporting on.
Sea You Beach Bar

This restaurant is popular with locals and holiday makers alike. The strip of coast here is also a great place to snap the sunset. As you can see from the picture, the restaurant is open, but there are less seats than usual. Again, social distancing laws require restaurants to remain suitable gaps between tables. Restaurants do get monitored and are fined if they break the rules, so they are making sure that the rules are upheld.
If you arrive at a restaurant and find that it is full, don't get the hump with the staff. Just find another place to eat. As I said previously, booking ahead could be useful, if the restaurant allows it. At the moment though - and do bear in mind that these shots were taken before tourist flights had started again - you will not have to worry, unless you visit on a sunday when the restaurants do get busier with locals anyway.
