Paphos Beaches In November
Geroskipou Beach
There were less sunbeds at Geroskipou, but there were still plenty clustered by the restaurants. This shot shows Riccos Beach Bar. There is currently a petition you can sign in Ricco's, as they are planning yet again to knock it down. In fact, the whole area is due to be renovated. Presumably it is a continuation of the work they did this year on the car parks. I will return to this matter at a future date, as it warrants its own story.
That Will Do Nicely
This is what the sea is like at the moment. Bit of a chill (in Geroskipou at least) but very, very calm.
And Finally...
The north coast of Paphos tends to have slightly warmer water. So if you are a bit of a wuss you might want to head here. The sunbeds are still out at Polis Municipal Beach.
I did ask the lady attendant how long the sunbeds would be out for. Initially she said the middle of the month. She then said she took a few away each day but would take them all tonight, because people keep using them and thinking they are free. At this point I realised I had touched a raw nerve and politely left her to it.
Polis Coast Path
Now you know what the beaches of Paphos are like at the start of November 2025. Rain is forecast for later in the week, but it won't last forever. If you are thinking of a late year holiday, get your skates on. We do need the rain though. The main reservoir of Paphos is now less than 9% full. This is the lowest I have ever known it to get. So if it does rain, take comfort in the fact that we desperately need it.
