Pano Akourdaleia Nature Trail
Stunning Viewpoint
I've said it before but it is worth repeating. The scenery along this route is beautiful.
This Way
This route looked a lot easier through the eyes of the drone.
Another Shelter
Take your time and pick your way through the prickles. I cleared a lot of them on the way down, but there are plenty more.
Resting Point?
You might be tempted to stop for a breather here, but a word of warning. The bin next to the shelter is absolutely full of wasp nests. I don't think they are currently in use, but is certainly made me jump when I lifted the lid. I was looking for rubbish. I wanted to see if I could date the last time somebody visited the site. Instead, I found lots of empty "honeycombs". I put that in quotes because though they look like them, wasps don't actually make honey.
