Beanbag Frenzy
It certainly looks like the new temporary restaurant will be a very chilled affair. There were lots of beanbags around.
The Other Attraction
As I said, there were a lot of tourists about when we arrived. However, their coaches and jeeps soon moved on.
Another View
There is a slight slope between the restaurant and the sea, and I was able to walk up it to get a better view of the inner workings. I was told that is definitely opening on Wednesday, so that is good news. They certainly look pretty much ready.
Sea Caves
If wrecks don't rock your boat, you can always enjoy the lovely scenery here instead.
Drinks?
I am guessing people would choose these seats if they just wanted a drink. it could be a bit tricky eating a jumbo pork chop off that.

Oniro Restaurant Update
At the start of February we reported that Oniro Restaurant had been demolished. Apparently they are rebuilding it over the next couple of years, with a temporary restaurant appearing in the meantime. We popped down the other day to see how they were getting on.

They are in the process of renovating the Oniro Restaurant by the Edro III wreck, though "replacing" would be a more accurate term. MapOniro Is Opening On Wednesday!
A few months ago Oniro Restaurant by the Edro III was knocked down, in order to make way for a nice new Eatery run by the same people. It will take a couple of years to complete, but they have been making a temporary restaurant to keep the punters happy in the meantime. That is due to open on Wednesday, so let's have a sneak preview.

Let me take you on a journey around the region of Paphos, Cyprus. Starting at Paphos itself, we travel to Akoursos, then Kathikas, Kritou Terra and Simou. We continue past Lasa and Kannaviou, before taking in the delights of Panagia. Getting a bit more adventurous, we visit the abandoned villages of Statos and Agios Fotios, before passing through Choulou, Letymbou and Polemi, and rejoining the main Paphos - Polis road.
The route is suitable for all types of vehicle, and requires no off-roading. The guide contains about 130 photographs including shots of all the road signs you need to pay attention to, as well as some of the highlights you may experience along the way.
There are also several maps which will help you keep your bearings.
You can do this journey in a day, or you can break it up into chunks. You can also do it in reverse, to get some completely different views. It is entirely up to you.
