Oniro Restaurant Renovation Update
They are in the process of renovating the Oniro Restaurant by the Edro III wreck, though "replacing" would be a more accurate term. First of all though, they are constructing a temporary restaurant to keep the summer customers happy until the new dream is completed. Let's see how the work is progressing...

They have certainly been busy since we last visited the Oniro Restaurant. You can't see much in the first shot though, so let's take a closer look.
A Closer Look

While the piles of sand near the machinery might appeal to the local cat population, they don' show us what work has been occurring.

Rather unusually there is a heptagonal (7 sided) structure, which will presumably form the basis of the temporary restaurant.

The site is surrounded by fences, but we were able to get some glimpses through the trees.
Marquee?

It looks like a giant - and very posh - marquee. Now that the winter storms are other it will be a very cost effective way of quickly providing a decent amount of shade.

eBookCyprus Road Trip 01: the Kathikas - Panagia Loop
Let me take you on a journey around the region of Paphos, Cyprus. Starting at Paphos itself, we travel to Akoursos, then Kathikas, Kritou Terra and Simou. We continue past Lasa and Kannaviou, before taking in the delights of Panagia. Getting a bit more adventurous, we visit the abandoned villages of Statos and Agios Fotios, before passing through Choulou, Letymbou and Polemi, and rejoining the main Paphos - Polis road.
The route is suitable for all types of vehicle, and requires no off-roading. The guide contains about 130 photographs including shots of all the road signs you need to pay attention to, as well as some of the highlights you may experience along the way.
There are also several maps which will help you keep your bearings.
You can do this journey in a day, or you can break it up into chunks. You can also do it in reverse, to get some completely different views. It is entirely up to you.
