Paphos Old Town In 2023 - Part 5
Ever-Decreasing Sparrows

There are a couple of art exhibits on the viewpoint too. The first is this lovely piece by Yiota Ioannidou. She is the artist who also did the Fish Boy at Paphos Sea Front, along with a number of other statues around Paphos. The girl used to be accompanied by some sparrows, but they unfortunately kept getting stolen. So now she sits alone.

Monolith

The other art exhibit is this strange-looking monolith. Go ahead and touch it. That is what it is there for.
The Old Post Office

Across the road from the viewing platform you will find this rather wonderful building. It is actually the old Post Office. It looks a lot nicer than the new one.
Motorised Scooters For Hire

This was a new one on me. These are hirable scooters, which presumably work in the same sort of way as the old Boris Bikes of London. This begs the question, how is the rule of law enforced with regards to the person driving one? And what about insurance?
Towards Kato Paphos

If you turn right here you will be heading towards Marks and Spencer, the Kings Avenue Mall and Kato Paphos.
