Paphos Old Town in 2023 - Part 3
Top Nosh

And after you have had your massage and are suitably relaxed, why not make your way next door again and have a lovely kebab from this establishment. You won't be disappointed, and the prices are cheap. There is another kebab shop to the left of this which we featured in a previous article. Unfortunately that was closed when I was out and about for these shots. I have eaten in both however, and they are both delicious.

More Colour

I do like the pastel hues they have used to brighten up the area. It looks so much nicer than it used to. One casualty to the renovations though, was a cafe which used to be on the corner here. The renovations, and the time they took, effectively put them out of business. I do hope the owner received suitable compensation. I met him on a previous photoshoot, and he was quite distraught about what had happened to his cafe. It was a lovely place with lots of nice murals on the walls. The food was great too.
Churros vs Antiques

The Churrito Shop is a relative newcomer. If you like star-shaped donuts then head here. I am not sure whether the place next to it is an antique or bric-a-brac shop, however a quick google translate reveals that ΠΑΛΑΙΟΠΩΛΕΙΑ means ANTIQUE SALE. So now you know.
Note also, that there is an opening to the left of the donut emporium. That used to lead to a little courtyard, so let's go and take a look...
A Little Courtyard

Sure enough, it still does. There used to be some murals painted on the walls here, but they have now been painted over. There is a bar on the left of this shot, but it looked like it was still being renovated when I peered through the window.
Peep

There was a balcony on one side of the square, and I could just make out a religious mural on the other side of the rails. I didn't walk up to it as I had no idea where it went. It could have been a private residence for all I knew. the mural looked nice from my angle though.
