Don't get me wrong. There are still some lovely shops here, like this one. And the market itself still has the same stall-holders. I just miss the old roof.

Come On Down!

Is it still worth visiting? Absolutely! I took these pictures first thing in the morning but by the time I was finishing it was getting a lot busier. And the traders are all still there, and have installed lots of umbrellas for the essential shade.

The market sells a variety of produce. You can buy the traditional tourist fayre, but there are also a lot of clothing stalls and shops. There are handbags galore, as well as leather goods and lace products. Don't take our word for it though, have a look yourself!

Another Entrance

The market has a number of entrances. Unless you are here early in the morning it is all pedestrianised. What's more I don't think I have seen a single motorised segway or tricycle on my visits, and long may that trend continue. This entrance leads down to the Green Living Wall, to the right of Savvas Opticians. There is also a turning on the left which leads to the entrance of Ibrahim's Khan and a children's play area.

To The Play Area

In fact, here is that turning. I have to say their breakfast looks nice too. But I want to head back to the market first.
