Old Paphos in 2021 - Part 7
Occasional Fountain

If you are lucky this bandstand will be surrounded by a beautiful fountain. Not today though. Beyond it, you can see the road on the left, and a walkway up to the Town Hall on the right. We shall go left, as I fancy a kebab.

Grill House

The road goes past this grill house, which I assume is open for deliveries, though I am not sure. This is not where I am getting my kebab from.
Towards Kennedy Square

No, the place we are aiming for is down here on the left.
Souvlakia Mixalos

This kebab house was voted Best In Cyprus a while back. I'm not sure who ran the competition, but it made the papers, so was as official as these awards can be. I can certainly vouch for the quality of the kebabs though. Absolutely delicious. Be warned though, if you opt for the large portion, you will be stuffed.
Turn Right Here

Rather than continue to Kennedy Square, we turn right here, past a small car park. There used to be a very nice pancake house here too, but that has unfortunately closed down. I loved their Mexican spicy pancake. It was a meal in itself.
